AB InBev is investing $15 million in its flagship St. Louis brewery, a key part of its $300 million commitment to enhance U.S. operations in 2025. The funds will upgrade supply chain infrastructure, streamlining the transport of high-quality American-grown ingredients and boosting distribution of iconic brands like Budweiser and Michelob ULTRA. Supported by Missouri’s American Beer Act, this investment strengthens the brewery’s role in AB InBev’s global production network.
For the first time, AB InBev is opening its St. Louis Technical Excellence Center to local trade schools, partnering with the National Association of Manufacturers’ Manufacturing Institute. Since its 2022 launch, the center has trained over 2,000 employees with more than 35 courses, equipping the next generation of brewing professionals with hands-on skills using state-of-the-art equipment. This move underscores AB InBev’s focus on fostering technical talent to drive industry innovation.
The investment aligns with global trends in the beverage industry, where efficient supply chains and localized production are critical to meeting consumer demand. By optimizing its St. Louis operations, AB InBev enhances its ability to deliver premium beers and fast-growing “beyond beer” offerings like Cutwater Spirits, reinforcing its competitive edge in the global market. The company’s broader $300 million plan further supports production upgrades across its U.S. facilities, ensuring scalability and quality.
